Westminster College Lagos runs both a day and boarding school. The boarding house is powered by two standby generators in case of PHCN power outage. There is prep time (reading hours) daily for the boarding students. There are also teaching house parents who revise with the boarding students in the evenings.
Both day and boarding students engage in extra-curricular activities. However, the boarding house students have more time for learning more skills during the weekend (outside their reading time). The boarders get free chess lessons, life skills, farming etc.
