Curriculum

Westminster College Lagos sets its entry standards at a level which should enable the motivated students to achieve a wide range of Cambridge I.G.C.S.E,WAEC and NECO Examination results at grades A to C. There is increasing pressure everywhere in the academic world for exam success and at Westminster College Lagos, our organizational ability will continue to make us successful in helping students of a wide range of ability to achieve their optimum potential. The college aims at more subtle and long lasting academic achievements. The pursuit of academic success should be seen by students as a voyage of discovery with great potentials for excitement as well as profit. Students are taught how to learn and to take pride in their performance. Once enthusiasm is generated, achievement is not far behind. The curriculum is under constant review. In the lower school, that is the Junior Secondary (JSS 1-3) it broadly follows the National Curriculum and the Cambridge I.G.C.S.E. But the College reserves the rights to upgrade its academic programme from time to time.

At the end of the third year, students choose nine subjects from a broad and generous range of options which are followed to Cambridge I. G.C.S.E, WAEC and NECO Examinations.
